What is the Global Report on Food Crises (GRFC)

Our flagship publication is the reference document for a comprehensive analysis of the global, regional and country-level acute food insecurity. The result of a collaborative effort among 16 partners to achieve a consensus-based assessment of acute food insecurity, the report aims to inform humanitarian and development action by providing independent and consensus-based evidence and analysis.

The report analyzes the drivers of acute food insecurity (conflicts, economic shocks, and weather extremes), and offers an analysis at the global, regional, and country levels.
